The charity organisation “Sigma Irpin” was founded on 21 March 2024 by two people: Olga Gdula and Natalia Kharchenko.
Both women are residents of Irpin who were fortunate enough to survive the horrific events of February–March 2022. Driven by a desire to help people in need, Olga and Natalia initially began working with the “Mercy” Charitable Foundation (in Turka, Lviv Oblast), and later, having gained valuable experience and feeling confident enough to work independently, decided to set up their own organisation – “Sigma Irpin”.
We are committed to ensuring that communities in Ukraine are resilient and united, and that their residents can influence decisions, receive support and work together to solve local problems. We believe in a society where grassroots initiatives become a real force, and where solidarity and mutual support create a space of trust for everyone.
To help communities develop by supporting and bringing together local initiatives.
We support teams and activists who tackle issues in their local communities. We help people affected by the war and create opportunities for the development of women, young people and children. Join our community of action!
